2 John reported after a great session in which we were near promotion all the way.  It came to a dissapointing end when Morley College won thier last match 9.5 - 8.5 and pipping us to the post by 2 point. This is in spite of winning out last 2 games 75. - 2.5

From 10 Matches Hammersmith finished with 8 points. 

Champions! John reported Hammersmith won this Division with 10.5 points 3 points clear of the field. £100 the prize for top dog is going into the clubs coffers.

Captain Michael Price reported that after a poor start Hammersmith won promotion to Division 1 it went on to the wire - last game for the last match when Carsten won a drawn position theis result clineched promotion.

Mike is under no illusions about the tough session ahead.

John reported Hammersmith finished 3rd in the league ammassing 9 points from 14 games.
